Join Fora and The Observer in an inspiring discussion on how we can make our cities not just functional, but truly humane.

What does it mean to create cities that don’t just serve practical needs but uplift and nurture communities? Visionary designer Thomas Heatherwick joins architecture critic Rowan Moore for a live discussion on how thoughtful architecture can spark connection, wellbeing, and joy in urban life.

They will explore the challenge of balancing sustainability, creativity, cost, and planning, asking if cities can be both ecologically responsible and emotionally rich. Can ornamentation and experimentation withstand modern constraints?

Hosted at Fora - The Jellicoe in King’s Cross, designed by award-winning architects Universal Design Studio.
