How do I connect my device to share my screen?
Please plug the USB-C cable in the room into your device and press ‘Start’ on the in-room controller to get connected. If you’d prefer to wirelessly connect your device, please follow the guidance in the following question.
How do I wirelessly share my screen on Zoom?
Press the ‘Share content’ button on the in-room controller to display two sharing options:
Option 1:
Go to the Zoom app on your device, login and click ‘Share screen’. Enter the ‘Sharing key’ displayed on the in-room TV screen to start sharing.
Option 2:
If using a Windows device:
1) Go to share.zoom.us on your device browser, enter the meeting room ID and passcode displayed on the in-room TV screen and the controller
2) The Zoom app may automatically download to your device, but you don’t need to install this
3) Enter the Meeting ID, click ‘Share Screen’
4) Click on ‘Launch Meeting’
5) Click on the ‘Join from your browser’ link that is now displayed
6) Enter the meeting passcode and your name. Click ‘Join’ to connect to the meeting room
7) Click ‘Share Screen’ to choose what you want to share
8) You can choose to share a browser tab, a window, or entire screen
9) The in-room speaker sound is only available when sharing a browser tab or entire screen
10) Enable the ‘Also share’ option and mute your laptop speaker
11) Choose what to share then click on the ‘Share’ button
If using an Apple device:
1) Follow steps 2-9 above
2) The in-room speaker sound is only available when sharing a browser tab
3) Enable the ‘Also share’ option and mute your laptop speaker
4) Choose what to share then click on the ‘Share’ button
How do I join a scheduled meeting from the in-room controller?
To join a Zoom meeting, please press ‘Join’ on the in-room controller, and then enter the meeting ID and passcode from your meeting invite.
To join a Google, Teams or Webex meeting, please press the relevant icon on the in-room controller, then enter the meeting ID and passcode from your meeting invite. The meeting room camera, microphone and speaker will automatically connect when joining a meeting this way.
How do I control the camera, microphone and speaker during my meeting?
For Google, Teams, Webex or Zoom meetings, please follow the below instructions on the controller:
- Press ‘Mute’ to turn off the microphone
- Press ‘Stop video’ to turn off the camera
- Adjust the speaker volume with the slider bar
- Press ‘Camera control’ to adjust the camera
- Press the ‘door’ icon to leave the meeting
If using Webex or Zoom, you will also be able to view participants, invite new participants, record your meeting and more.
How do I join a scheduled meeting from my device?
- Plug the USB-C cable into your laptop and press ‘Start’ on the in-room controller. Then join the meeting on your device as normal. Extend your device screen to the in-room TV if needed
- To turn on the camera, click the drop-down menu next to the camera icon within your meeting room app and select ‘Yealink Room Camera’
- To turn on the speaker and microphone, click the drop-down menu next to the microphone icon within your meeting room app. Then, select ‘Echo Cancelling Speakerphone’ on Windows devices, or ‘Yealink Room Audio’ on Apple device
How do I start a conference call?
Please press the phone icon on the in-room controller and dial.
How do I get further help?
If you’re still unable to connect or use the technology in the room, please look for the in-room button to call for help from our Member Experience team. When you press this button, a member of our team will be there shortly to assist you.
