Boyd will be discussing the much-anticipated third novel in his best-selling series starring travel writer and reluctant spy, Gabriel Dax.

In Cold Sunset, Gabriel Dax is on route to Russia, tasked with delivering a mysterious Blanco drawing to celebrated defector, Kit Caldwell. But Caldwell is convinced that the KGB suspects him of treachery and he wants to get out - now. What follows takes the reader deep into a world where loyalty blurs, motives darken and every step could be fatal.

In conversation with Observer literary editor Tom Gatti, Boyd will delve into the shadowy worlds and moral complexities of Cold Sunset.
