Chickenshed is an inclusive North London theatre company and charity, creating joyful theatre that has brought people together for 50 years.

Join Chickenshed for a special evening at Offline, featuring two live performances experienced through wireless headphones in a unique silent-performance format.

Through a combination of live music, storytelling, film and performance, Chickenshed's young people will share stories that celebrate the joy, challenges and diversity of lives lived. The evening will showcase Chickenshed's inclusive approach and the transformative impact of its wider community and educational outreach work.

Guests will also have the opportunity to support Chickenshed's Educational Outreach Programme through optional fundraising and donations throughout the event.

About Chickenshed

Helping young people find their voice.

Every year, Chickenshed takes its work beyond our theatre and into schools and communities, reaching thousands of young people through performances and workshops that explore the issues affecting their lives.

Our Educational Outreach programme gives schools access to creative, engaging ways to open conversations around belonging, identity, peer pressure, inclusion and community safety. Through theatre and storytelling, we create spaces where young people can explore difficult subjects, talk openly and feel heard.

At the heart of this work are young people themselves. We support young people who have faced barriers in their own lives to use those experiences positively, becoming peer educators, facilitators and future leaders.

By sharing their voices and experiences, they can connect with other young people in a way that feels real and relevant, while building their own confidence, skills and future opportunities.

We need to raise £80,000 every year to keep our Educational Outreach programme running and ensure schools and communities can continue to access this important work.Your donation can help us reach more young people, support more schools and ensure young people’s voices are heard.
