Clerkenwell Design Week 2019 At Fora

May 2019

What a week we had celebrating Clerkenwell Design Week at Fora. A huge thank you to all of our amazing partners for the inspiring exhibitions, workshops and talks. From landscape architecture to screen printing, it really was all going on at Fora. Here are just a few of our favourite moments and photos from the week.

We marvelled at the future of workspace furniture with Established & Sons who’s latest collect was installed in our Dallington Street space. The new collection of crossover designs was created to inspire work at home, in the office, in shared spaces and everywhere in-between. Designers include Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Konstantin Grcic and Sebastian Wrong.

We got our screen print on at Fora’s Central Street location with Jealous Studio. Our Residents were invited to create exclusive new artwork by pulling prints live with the Jealous team.

Matteo Brioni taught us how to use raw earth to create beautiful patterns and finishes. We learnt all about raw earth as a versatile, hypoallergenic material and how to apply Matteo Brioni Terracruda finishes.

Refolo Landscape Architects, talked us through the impressive refurbishment of the Brutalist Water Gardens in the Hyde Park Estate. R-LA were appointed to combine 21st Century aesthetics with the original Brutalist concept which was no mean feat.

Happy 10th birthday to Clerkenwell Design Week. All in all, we had a fantastic week and we’re very much looking forward to next year. In the meantime, you can find out more about Fora’s design-led Clerkenwell spaces here.
